La Belle Vie Card and Purse

I made the card and mini purse using paper from the new CTMH idea books. The paper is from the La Belle Vie collection. For the 4x4 card,  I used the Jardin stamp set, fluttering paper shapes, the pin from the bling assortment, and some lace. I also made a Rossetti flower and used a pin clip to hold the sentiment. For the mini purse I used the bag cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge and cut off the front handle and folded the sides in. For the latch to close the bag, I used the cut on page 36 and cut it at an 1 1/2. I put a bling brad on it and glued a mini magnet to the opposite side of the brad so it would stay shut. I also put some lace at the bottom and a bow on the handle.

I made this card box using the new paper La Bella Vie and the stamp set Jardin. They both are in the new Autumn/Winter 2012 Idea Book and will be available to order on August 1. I recently ordered some new products from that idea book and I've been playing around with them. I just loved the whole color scheme with this packet and the beautiful stamps. With this card box I sponged all the edges with Grey Wool and cut the black with pink flowered, La Belle Vie paper to cover the top and the front lip. Then I turned the black paper over to the pink side and covered the sides. I used the stamp seal that says Paris from the stamp set Jardin and stamped that in Grey Wool onto an off white card stock and cut that out. I then made a Rossetti using my cuttlebug and the Tim Holtz Rossetti die cut and placed that on the right side of the stamp. I took a butterfly from the fluttering paper shapes and inked it in the Grey Wool and stuck the pin from the bling assortment through the middle and glued that to the top of the Rossetti. I had some lace so I decided to string that across the lip and I put three pearls on the bottom left side of the lid.

Welcome Banner

For July's workshop we did a welcome banner with the Lucy papers. We took the My Creation triangle banner and covered them with the Lucy papers cut with the Art Philosophy cartridge. I cut the image on page 49 at 6 3/4 inches. For the boarders along the top, I cut it at 1 inch in colonial white card stock. That's cut is on page 64. The large scalloped circles are cut at 3 1/2 inches and that's in page 41. The welcome letters are cut at 2 3/4 inches. I'm posting this with the blogger app, I wanted to try it out . Pemberley Cards

Made these simple cards with somes scraps from my paper scrap bin. I used the pemberley paper for the butterflies, some brown paper bag cardstock, the A Tree stamp set, and for the swirly vines I used the  stamp set that came in the You and Me workshop on the go kit.
