Seahawks

I just wanted to share some of the Seahawks items I've made.

I made this infinity scarf. I found a tutorial from Crafty Gemini. Here's her video tutorial:

With the scraps from my scarf, I also made a lace up coffee cozy.

On Pinterest I've been seeing a lot of painted Converse shoes and I've really been wanting to have a pair of Seattle Seahawk ones. I'm no artist but my husband is pretty good at drawing, so I had him sketch one on the shoe and I just painted it.

Halloween Costumes

Pictures of the kids costumes this year.

My daughter Kaleia and her friends went as superheroes. I made the girls tutus and we bought the shirts at Walmart.

My son Jay was a headless scientist. My husband put this together.

My youngest Mya was Elsa. I made her a tutu dress along with a wand.

Here's the video tutorial that helped me make a tutu dress.

Football Game Day Snack

Just wanted to share the game day snack bags I made for my son's football team. They made it to the play-offs so I wanted to make something special for them.

I made football bags out of paper lunch sacks. I wish I had dark brown bags but I didn't have time to order any. I made the laces with paper since I didn't have a large enough white marker to draw the laces.

I found a free printable candy wrapper that I wrapped around a Fruit Roll Up. You can get the free printable HERE

I put bag toppers on a small bag of cheese puff balls. The treat bag toppers are also a free printable you can get HERE

I made penalty flags with a lollipop, yellow napkin, and ribbon.

The other team mom made these "Thunderade" drinks to go with the snack bags. Our team name is Thunder and I love how she incorporated it into the name of the drinks :) And they're purple... Our team color.

DIY Superhero Costume

Here's pictures of the superhero costume I made for my youngest daughter and my friends son. They LOVE superhero's!

I used my cricut to cut out a stencil to make the letters and shapes on the cape. I just used that and traced it onto the felt then cut it out.

Here's the video tutorial of the cape that I found on YouTube.

Football Cards

My son plays pee wee football for a local club and one of the moms had a great idea about having game day cards that parents can wear during the game that would have a picture of their player on the front and on the back it would have a game schedule and team roster. I thought that was such a great idea! Our uniforms don't have the players names on the back so having the team roster with the kids names and numbers would really come in handy! This was what the other team mom and I came up with!

The parents LOVED them!! I used the program, Storybook from Creative Memories to put them together then I just laminated them with my My Story machine.

Baby Shower

Pictures from my sister's baby shower. I really wanted to do so much more but it was a little last minute. My friend and I worked hard to try and get things done in time. I couldn't have done it without her!

First Day of School

Just a few pictures of the kids first day.

Kaleia and Jay-Tee started school before Mya did so this was their picture they took together.

Each of the kids had their own seat decorated with whatever grade they were going into. My husband and I wrote them each a little note on their grade sign that I tied to the back of their chairs. The back to school fairy left a little gift for them too.

The grade signs you can get HERE and the printables I used are from the Lauren McKinsey grade school and middle school collection.

Last Day Of School!!

A few pictures from the kids last day of school and Mya's preschool graduation.

Superhero Popcorn

It was superhero week at preschool, so my daughter and I came up with these cute popcorn cups.

The supplies you'll need are:

Popcorn
Blue Paper Cups
Red Felt
Paper
Superhero printable you can find HERE.
Liquid Glue
Optional- Plastic food wrap
Optional- rubber bands

#1. I drew a template of a cape and cut it out.

#2. Pin the cape template you just made to the piece of felt and cut around the template.

#3. Slip the cape on to the cup and place a little glue around the cape to keep it from falling.

#4. Print out the superhero printable and cut them out. Then glue them to the front of the cups.

#5. Then fill the cups with popcorn and you're done!

* Since I still had to bring the snacks to school, I cut a piece of plastic food wrap to cover the popcorn and I used a rubber band to hold it down. That way they didn't spill.
