T-ball Pages

I've been using some of my down time for getting caught up with my scrapbooking before the back to school rush that starts next week. This past spring was my son's first year of T-ball and I still hadn't put together his pages yet... so I finally got those done! All I have left is this past school year for both kids and I'll be caught up :)

Digital Layouts

I was playing around with my digital scrapbooking program I bought about a year ago from a friend who sells Creative Memories. I haven't played with it for awhile so I thought I would play around with it with some of the pictures from my daughters tournaments. I then got the idea to make shadow boxes from the tournaments her team had won. That way I can stick her medals in them and she'll have a reminder of each tournament her team won :)

Island Cup Champs!

Another busy weekend for the Sandbecks! This weekend Kaleia played in another tournament in Bainbridge Island, The Island Cup. They had a challenging weekend playing in a higher bracket. Our girls are a U9/10 team and we played in the U11 silver bracket. The girls played strong all weekend and came out champions once again :) A great victory for the girls!

Ponytail Ribbon Barrettes

Just got done making my daughters team matching ponytail ribbon barrettes. I thought it would be cute if I removed the Gatorade labels and stuck soccer ball printed duck tape around it instead... but I had no luck finding any :(

Simple Birthday Card

I made this simple and easy birthday card using the pemberly papers, brown paper bag cardstock, ctmh's a tree stamp set, and for the swirly vines I used the stamp set that came in the you and me on the go workshop kit.

Mummy Buckets

Last year I bought some tin buckets from Target that they had on clearance for $.50. They've been sitting for awhile so I thought I should probably do something with them. I put together these cute Halloween mummy buckets for a swap. This project was so fast and easy and they turned out so cute! I used mod podge and painted it around the bucket. I then took rolled up gauze and wrapped it around the bucket leaving an opening for the eyes. The buckets I got had a little spot where there was chalkboard paint, so I just used that part for where I would put the eyes. I used large googly eyes and hot glued them to the bucket. I then used spiders that were rings but I just cut the loop off and glued it to the bucket. I then attached some ribbon to the handle and filled it with some goodies :)

CTMH Potion Treat Card

I made these cute potion treat cards for a swap. I cut the card image from the Artiste cartridge on page 57 at 3 inches. I then cut out the image on page 33 at 1 1/4 inches and stamped the Commotion Potion stamp from the Magic Potions stamp set in black onto it. I used a scalloped circle punch for the orange scalloped circle and sponged along the edges with black ink. I then glued the scalloped circle to the card and used a pop dot to raise the potion label up, giving it some dimension. For the stars I used the stamp set Game On and cut them out and glued them towards the bottom right of the orange scallop. I used the All Hallows Eve stamp for the spiders and I used the Spellbound workshop on the go stamp set for the spiderweb. I put black rhinestones on the spiders to make them stand out a little and used the Autumn Terracotta twine to wrap around the treat card. For the treat I used test tubes that I purchased online at Lake Charles Laboratory Supply and filled them with orange pixie sticks. Click here for the exact test tubes size I used and click here for the exact cork stopper I used.

Halloween Treat Card

I just had to order the Halloween stamps from the new CTMH idea book. I got them in the mail today and couldn't wait to start using them. This was one of the cards that I put together. I purchased the treat cups from CTMH awhile ago and have been waiting to do something with them. I think they went well with this card. The materials to make this card can be purchased from my website. The ribbon and candy I added.

Fall Coaster Sign

I made this fall sign for a swap that I'm in. I found some wood coasters in the dollar bins at Joann's and covered them with scrapbook paper. I cut out the word FALL and stamped them with a leaf stamp and embossed it in a sparkling gold. I then used stickers to embellish it a little.

Washington Rush Champs!!

This weekend we were at a soccer tournament in Burlington for my daughter Kaleia's team. She players for WestSound FC Girls U9 and they took first place in their age bracket at the Washington Rush cup. They were in the bronze division for girls U11. Her team did an awesome job especially playing in the 90 degree heat on Saturday and Sunday... But they pushed through it and came out Champs! Congrats to the WestSound girls!
