Gum Ball Machine

I loved making this gum ball machine candy dish. It makes a really cute gift and it's very inexpensive to make. The glass bowl, planting pot, and water dish were all each $1 or less. The small wooden ball was a little over a dollar because it came in a pack.  I painted the pot, wooden ball, and watering plate using acrylic paint and sprayed it with a Mod Podge sealer. Once it was dry I then glued the the glass bowl on top of the upside down planting pot. I then used some ribbon and paper flowers to accent it a little. I found this idea on Pinterest and just had to try it! They turned out so cute... I also made a couple for my kids teachers for Valentine's Day this year and they loved them! So if your looking for something to make and give away as gifts this is the perfect project because it's very inexpensive... and so stinkin cute!

Starfish Card

This 4x4 card was made with the Footloose paper pack from CTMH and the Under the Sea stamp set. I also used the Art Philosophy cartridge to cut out the scalloped circles around the starfish. A very simple but cute card.

Mini "SWEET" strawberry card

I made this mini card using the cricut cartrige simply charmed. I also used my Gypsy to make the actual card by welding two circles together. I then punch out mini circles and glued them along the larger white circle to create a scalloped look. I used a peachy keen stamp for the face of the strawberry and a "SWEET" stamp that I embossed on the little tag.

Flip Flop Boxes

I made these flip flop boxes for a swap that I am in. I got the boxes from Michaels for a $1 and covered them with paper from the Recollections Surf's Up paper pack. I also painted the boxes and mod podged over it. I added a flower with some bling and ribbon. Inside I put chocolate candies that I covered with matching paper.

End of the year Teacher gifts

This year I was lucky that both of my kids had amazing teachers this year! I put these tumblers together with some extra goodies to get their summer vacation started. Inside the tumbler is candy, gum, and a gift certificate. I also tied a magazine around it with some great summer time recipes in it. I used the footloose papers from CTMH because it went well with the color of the tumbler.

Mini My Creations Banner

I made this cute mini banner with the CTMH my creations mini banner and the Pemberley paper pack and embellishments. I also used the Art Philosophy cartridge.

Owl Pillow Boxes

I saw these cute owl pillow boxes on Pinterest and had to try them. I used the Art Philosophy cartridge, the Plantin School Book cartrige, a small oval shape punch and a heart punch for the feet and beak. I found a great tutorial on it at http://www.kerryspapercrafts.com/ Check out her blog she's amazing!

Baseball Goodie Bags

My friend and I both have sons that played on the same T-ball team this year and we wanted to make something for the team for such a great season. We made these really cute french fry containers with the Art Philosophy cartridge and the All Sports cartridge. I think they turned out pretty cute.

Post It Note Holder

Made these for a swap I went to. It's made with a wooden coaster from Joann's that I got in the dollar wood bins, a binder clip, and ribbon. I also mod podged the papers onto the coaster and painted the sides of the coaster with coordinating paint. I used the Footloose papers and the Under the Sea stamp set from CTMH.

Stella 12x12 Scrapbook Pages

These 12x12 scrapbook layouts are made with the Stella paper pack from CTMH. Love the warm colors in this paper pack!

Paper Topiary Plant

Made these cute topiary type plants with the Close to my Heart Cricut cartridge, Art Philosophy. I cut out the flower on page 58 at 1 inch, then inked all the edges. I then pinned them to a styrofoam ball that I panted pink to match the ink. This was a fun project to make. It took about a day to complete but I loved the way it turned out. It would be a cute centerpiece for a baby shower!

Flip Flop Album

I made this cute flip flop album with my daughter. We took a flip flop from the dollar store and cut the straps off of the one that we would be using for the back cover. We then traced the flip flop on colored cardstock and cut them out and connected them with eyelets and string. I then let her cut out the pictures and she decorated the pages with some embellishments. This project was very fun and very cheap to make. I will definitely be making another one!

3x3 Cards

Made these cards using the Pemberley paper pack from CTMH and I used the stamp set Just for you also from CTMH.
